Found across coastal and adjacent areas of northern and eastern Australia. Wide range of habitat: rainforests, mangroves, wet and dry sclerophyll forests, coastal heaths and vegetation bordering inland rivers. Diurnal; spends most of active life in trees, frequently forages on ground. Food mainly frogs and birds.
