Also known as Inland Marbled Velvet Gecko. Restricted to rocky habitats in arid and semi-arid zones. Recently Marbled Velvet Geckos were divided into Western (Pilbara and Gascoyne Regions), Gulf (west and south Gulf of Carpentaria), Central (central Ranges) and Eastern (Cooper and Darling Basins).
