South from Cape York Peninsula from Mount Leswell north on mainland to Cape Melville and offshore north to Stanley Island. Found in rocky areas, including granite boulders and sandstone outcrops, extending on to adjacent aerial root systems of figs and occasionally buildings.

Also known as Eastern Bandy Bandy. Widespread in eastern Australia from Shepparton, Vic, to Port Augusta, SA  and n to Cape York, Queensland and ne NT. Occupies virtually all habitat types within this broad range.

One of a group of three large snakes with broad, flat heads. Nocturnal, arboreal and can climb rocks. Ranges on the coast from Gosford (NSW) to Kroombit Tops, Queensland. Occurs in a variety of habitats, from rainforests, wet sclerophyll and dry sclerophyll forest to rock outcrops. Shelters beneath loose bark, among epiphytes, in hollow logs, limbs and rock crevices, or under slabs. Feeds on lizards, frogs, mammals and birds. Potentially dangerous.
